Ad Targeting
WeAre8 helps you connect with the 8Citizens that matter the most to your brand. Our system will send your paid brand message to the relevant people that will participate and complete your ad in its entirety. Explore all of our features below, you can use some, none, or all. Don't forget to test different targeting approaches to find your best fit.
Targeting is selected during the ad set phase of campaign creation. The following options are available:
- Target Audience: define the audience you want to reach. Either build a new audience or re-target a previously existing audience.
- Gender: you can select ‘All’ for all genders, or specify male, female, or non-binary. Age: select all of the age ranges you would like to include. You can select ‘All age ranges’ to include all ages.
- Location(s): Leave this blank if you wish to target all regions in your country. Otherwise, enter one or more regions to target. Location targeting is limited to your country. You may target different countries by creating a separate brand account in a new country.
- Audience Affinities/Interests: You can select affinities and interests that apply to your desired audience target. Select all that apply or none to not specify any affinities or interests.
- OS: You can select a specific operating system to target. The options are iOS or Android. Please leave at ‘All’ if you do not have a preference

To create a new audience:
- In ‘Ad Set’, select ‘Create a New Audience’
- Select your demographic and device preferences
- You will be able to review your selections in ‘Summary’ at the end of creating your campaign.
To select a previously audience:
- In ‘Ad Set’, select ‘Retarget Audience’
- Select the campaign you’d like to retarget
- You will be able to review your audience in ‘Summary’ at the end of creating your campaign.
